    PREGNANCY - Preparation & Postpartum

Nobody should have to worry about how pregnancy and childbirth will affect their pelvic floor. Visits with us will help you prepare your body for the demands of pregnancy and childbirth. You can also decrease pain and improve your strength and stamina during pregnancy. A postpartum visit (usually at least 6 weeks after your baby’s birth) will help your body recover from childbirth and will help teach you how to support your body’s healing.

  • PERIMENOPAUSE

The changes happening in your body as you approach perimenopause affect your pelvic floor. If there are underlying, functional issues with your pelvic floor that you’re not aware of, they can start getting worse at this stage of your life. Any work that you do to understand how your pelvic floor functions and set up healthy habits before perimenopause will greatly affect how well your body navigates through this stage of life.
